I'm BAACCKKK!!

Yes! It's true. I'm back in the blogging world. But I've decided to make a few changes to the purpose of this blog. If you notice, I've added a few other "pages" on top. Click on those links and you'll read about my own personal weight-loss journey and my bucket list. I decided to make this blog a little more focused, aka... on the journey of losing weight and completing things on my bucket list.

So! I'm excited to share with you all my journey again, hopefully writing much more regularly than before. Because my writing is unpredictable, you can always just "follow" me and get an email when I actually do, in fact, post something.

But hopefully, I can be more consistent.

So where the heck have I been? Well... I went home to the USA for a while on my summer vacation for about 5 weeks. It was so amazing to spend time with my family again. I spent most of my time with family, actually, because my closer friends are pretty much scattered around the world.

Helen (my step-mom) and my Dad

The Siblings (Yes, I am the oldest... and the coolest, of course)

Mom! <3

Something I've been thinking about is the idea of quality vs. quantity. I've always been a fan of quality... and I say this in regards to relationships. I find that I'd rather have a special few people who mean the world to me and I keep in contact with than 100 random friends I just talk to and I never feel close with. I'm lucky to have a few people in my life that really mean something.

Friends I got to hang out with during my visit

I got to see pretty much everyone that mattered except one of my closest friends, Jenna, because she was living in Oregon at the time and is now moving to Tanzania!! You know what that means!!!!!! I am going to try my hardest to visit her in Africa during my summer vacation next August! :)

Other than the USA visit, I went to the Dominican Republic with my mom and my Aunt Pam and had an UBER relaxing time on the beach for 10 days and then I came back to South Korea to start my second contracted teaching year in Korea.

It's most definitely not the same here in Korea as the 3 people I met and grew closest to in Korea moved back to their respective hometowns. So I've been making new friends, getting involved in a weekly board game club I started in my city (don't judge, board games are supedupe aka super duper fun!!) and I've been studying Korean and Spanish as much as I can. I finally can read Hangul, which is slightly embaressing to say as I've lived in Korea for over 14 months now!!! And I'm studying with a Korean co-teacher some basic Korean to get me going and in my free time, I study online.

I also went to Beijing and Xi'an, China for 5 nights with my friend Alana (who has since moved back to Canada... and I definitely miss... a lot) during Chuseok, which is the Korean Thanksgiving holiday. It was a crazy and memorable trip, fo' sho'. But seeing the Great Wall of China made all the craziness worth it!

Little thing you might of  heard of called THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA! :) with Alana

Lately, life is good, but super busy. All of my weekends are already planned out until the middle of December! Haha! I like to keep busy and do as much as I can.  And I'm excited to see what the next year will bring. Alex and I have been thinking about our winter vacation travel plans and we are thinking about going to Cambodia, so that's another adventure to look forward to!!! <3

Till then... food for thought: If you could relive any moment in your life again, what would it be? (Question courtesy of the song I keep listening to on repeat: Moment 4 life: Nicki Minaj... listen to it, it's a great song!)

COMMENT AND TELL ME! :)
